This song is a response to the various ways in which militarism/imperialism is normalized within u.s. society. Events like army festivals, fleet week, etc. all celebrate military technology that the u.s. military uses to kill innocent people across the globe. They are framed as fun, family-friendly events to spend an afternoon at. Visitors are not asked to question what this technology is used for. They are allowed to remain unaware or in denial about their country’s role in conflicts across the world. This is a privilege only allowed to those in the imperial core who do not have to experience the devastating effects of u.s. imperialism. However, the imperial boomerang eventually comes back, and those in the core celebrating this technology will find it being used against them. It will be increasingly difficult to ignore what this military technology is actually intended for, and they will come to find it was never fun and games.

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse is the story of Trevor Belmont's battle against Dracula from the times before Simon's battle in Castlevania. In this complex and difficult game, there are three playable allies whom Trevor can recruit: Alucard (Dracula's son), Grant DaNasty (a pirate captain), and Sypha Belnades (a mystic warlord).
Unlike the other branches of Castlevania III, this run uses a stairs glitch in Block 4 to climb directly to Dracula and skip most of the game. Only the USA version allows this glitch to work, so it was used instead of the Japanese version, which has superior sound quality.

In 1989, 12 years after the Gogoh army attempted to invade Earth in Supercharged Robot Vulkaiser, the terrorist organization "Neo Loran Order" threatens the world as it fights for world domination. It's up to the newly formed Earth Federation's mech army to defeat the Neo Loran Order and take out their secret super weapon, known only by its code name "Armed Seven".
Armed Seven is a horizontally scrolling mech shoot 'em up. When starting the game, you get to choose a main weapon, sub weapon and charge weapon. Your main weapon can be aimed freely in an 180º arc, while your sub weapon fires in a fixed direction depending on the weapon chosen. The charge weapon is a powerful attack which has to be rested between uses. Shooting down supply ships will drop shield and weapon powerups. The shield can absorb up to two hits, if your health runs to zero it's game over.

Scribblenauts Unlimited tells the story of Maxwell, who, after playing a prank on an old wizard, has to save his sister from a spell. In order to achieve this, he has to travel across the world and help people in order to obtain Starites and Starite pieces.
Unlike its predecessors, Scribblenauts Unlimited uses a level-based structure where multiple people with quests appear in the same zone. These people all have a puzzle that the player must solve, usually by using the in-game notebook, which spawns any item or person the player writes into it. Adjectives can also still be applied to objects, people and animals. One new feature are the riddles contained in the menu, which are categorized under subjects like "Food" or "Vehicles" and have the player simply guess what item the riddle is referring too.
Scribblenauts Unlimited also introduces an in-game object editor, which allows players to create their own items and share them online.

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse (originally known as 悪魔城伝説 or Akumajō Densetsu, meaning "Legend of the Demon Castle") is the story of Trevor Belmont's battle against Dracula from the times before Simon's battle in Castlevania. In this complex and difficult game, there are three playable allies whom Trevor can recruit: Alucard (Dracula's son), Grant DaNasty (a pirate captain), and Sypha Belnades (a mystic warlord).
This movie takes the path that recruits Grant. It is nearly 2 minutes faster than the previous version thanks to a lot of findings over the years. Unlike it's predecessors, this movie uses the USA version of the game, because it allows new tricks that gains a lot of time. 「Inferno Eight 〜新約八犬伝〜」
■企画のねらい
神話戦争やダンテの『神曲』のような世界設定は
作り手なら一度は挑戦したくなるテーマ。
そこに江戸時代の天才キャラメイカー・滝沢馬琴の
『南総里見八犬伝』のエッセンスを重ね
メイド・イン・ジャパンの匂いを加えたのが本企画です。
遊びの核は、武士道の極端な個性である
切腹・自刃・自死を、どのタイミングで使うのか。
いつ、どこで、死ぬのか。
感覚的にはシューティングゲームで
「ボムをどこで切るか」という判断を
ケレン味たっぷりのアクションRPGとして成立させたい、
そんな企画です。
■ボツの理由
まず予算。
それはそう、という話ですが(笑)
二桁億円規模になるのはほぼ確実で
実際どこまで膨らむのかも読めない。
もう一つは、「自死のシステム」を
ゲームとして破綻なく成立させるレベルデザイン力。
一見派手だが、本当に面白く仕上げるには
かなり高度なスキルセットが求められます。
さらに、この動画レベルのクオリティで
世界全体を動かす開発力を考えると
現実的に作れる会社はかなり限られる。
AIを中心とした技術進歩で
このあたりが解決できるなら
改めて本気で作りたい企画ですね。

Instead, this series uses video generation AI to visualize the original concepts,
while also sharing why they were put on hold—documenting and enjoying the process along the way.
Vol.1
“INFERNO EIGHT 〜New Eight Dog Chronicles〜”
■ Concept Intent
Worlds such as mythological wars or Dante’s Divine Comedy are themes
that many creators want to tackle at least once.
This project layers those ideas with elements from Nansō Satomi Hakkenden,
written by Takizawa Bakin, a master character creator of Japan’s Edo period,
adding a distinct “Made in Japan” sensibility.
At the core of the gameplay is an extreme aspect of bushidō:
seppuku, self-inflicted death, and voluntary sacrifice—and the decision of when to use them.
When do you die?
Where do you die?
The intent is similar to deciding when to deploy a bomb in a shooting game,
translated into a bold, highly stylized action RPG.
■ Why It Was Shelved
First, the budget.
A project of this scale would almost certainly require a budget of several billion yen,
and it’s difficult to predict how far the costs might escalate.
Another major challenge is the level design required to make a “self-sacrifice system”
function coherently as a game mechanic.
While it may appear flashy at first glance, shaping it into something genuinely fun
would demand an exceptionally advanced skill set.
In addition, achieving this level of quality across the entire world
would require significant development power, realistically limiting the number of studios capable of producing it.
If future technological advances—particularly those centered around AI—can resolve these challenges,
this is a project I would like to seriously pursue again.

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse (originally known as 悪魔城伝説 or
Akumajō Densetsu, meaning "Legend of the Demon Castle") is the
story of Trevor Belmont's battle against Dracula from the times before
Simon's battle in Castlevania. In this complex and difficult game,
there are three playable allies whom Trevor can recruit: Alucard
(Dracula's son), Grant DaNasty (a pirate captain), and Sypha Belnades
(a mystic warlord).
This game has a technically high-quality soundtrack because it uses a
VRC6 sound chip that works in the Japanese Famicom but not in the NES.
Thus, the movie was made with the Japanese version of the game instead
of the USA version.
This movie takes the path that recruits Sypha. There's also a

OlliOlli is a 2D side-scrolling street skateboarding game with a pixel visual style. The player guides a skateboarder through different levels with many objectives to complete, such as reaching a certain score, performing a specific trick, catching air, pushing a limited amount of times, grinding specific objects, or getting certain landings. There are no enemies in the environment, so the focus is entirely on solo play performing tricks by jumping, doing spins, grabs, slides, flips, kicks, etc. The skater moves forward automatically and the player uses keys or buttons to spin left or right, jump, perform tricks, and also a key or button to control the landing. The amount of buttons is limited, but timing is important. Tricks can be linked together into combos.
There are five different environments with ten levels each. These are split up in five amateur and five pro levels, each with five objectives. Later levels have more obstacles and hazards.

While there are various enhancements and details to the character and the scenery, the basic gameplay is still largely similar in a side by side comparison. The GameSpeak system Abe uses to command and talk to other characters start with the same commands, but can later be expanded. This version of the game supports leaderboards for the completion time of each mode and the overall game. There are three difficulty levels and the game. It includes the original cooperative function of the original game when another player can take over when the first player dies, taking turns controlling Abe.
