IPSJ International AI Programming Contest: SamurAI Coding 2014-15 表彰式
As the Internet industry rapidly grows, there is an intensifying need for high quality engineers and programmers. Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ) conducted the International AI programming Contest "SamurAI Coding" in 2012 and 2013, aiming to cultivate the younger generation so they can become leading researchers, developers and successful on global level (1st SamurAI Coding Final Photos in 2012 and 2nd Final Results in 2013).
3rd SamurAI Coding will be held between September 2014 and March 2015. Contestants will compete their engineering skills for AI game programming. Winners of the preliminary round will move on to the final round, which will be held on March 18 2015 collocated with 77th IPSJ National Convention in Kyoto at Kyoto University. Participating engineers will be able to demonstrate their skills on a global level through this contest.

【SamurAI Coding 2014-15】最終予選：第77回全国大会 国際AIプログラミングコンテスト【情報処理学会】
IPSJ International AI Programming Contest: SamurAI Coding 2014-15
As the Internet industry rapidly grows, there is an intensifying need for high quality engineers and programmers. Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ) conducted the International AI programming Contest "SamurAI Coding" in 2012 and 2013, aiming to cultivate the younger generation so they can become leading researchers, developers and successful on global level (1st SamurAI Coding Final Photos in 2012 and 2nd Final Results in 2013).
3rd SamurAI Coding will be held between September 2014 and March 2015. Contestants will compete their engineering skills for AI game programming. Winners of the preliminary round will move on to the final round, which will be held on March 18 2015 collocated with 77th IPSJ National Convention in Kyoto at Kyoto University. Participating engineers will be able to demonstrate their skills on a global level through this contest.

Brautigam playing fortepianos by Paul McNulty after Anton Walter (1752 - 1826), who had the title of "Chamber Organ Builder and Instrument Maker in Vienna", is considered to be the most famous fortepiano maker of his time. He improved the Viennese pianoforte action, which remained a standard for many years. He built about 700 instruments, which were praised for their quality by Mozart, who bought a Walter in 1782, and by Beethoven, who nearly succeeded in buying one in1802. TAS SNES Zombies Ate My Neighbors (USA) in 59:14.87 2/2
by Hans Olsson (aka. Walker Boh). Zombie slaying in the Zelda perspective. Reminds a bit of Fester's Quest, but is much more fun. Walker Boh controls the both characters simultaneously, which should make the hard game even harder. Naturally, luck and glitches are abused in this run. We recommend reading the author's comments; he wrote quite a detailed article of this movie.
TAS SNES Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt (USA) in 13:58.63
by Torfi Gunnarsson (aka. Blublu). Pugsley's scavenger hunt is an extremely fast paced game, which makes it difficult. It is made even more difficult by playing on the hardest setting, which gives Pugsley only one single heart, meaning that he dies in one hit. The movie itself looks very impressive and it really gives the impression that the player knows what he is doing. The author uses a trick known as the wall-jump to climb vertical walls. This allows for many creative shortcuts.

Out to lunch is a very strange game involving a chef trying to catch escaped vegetables and other food. The game is difficult due to strict time limits and a small amount of lives, which makes the run look impressive. Those unfamiliar with the game are advised to read the author's comments at the submission page to help understand the game and enjoy the movie more.

.Bubsy is on a hunt to get back his yarn, which the Woolies stole. Bubsy can run very fast, but unfortunately he almost never gets a chance to, because there are obstacles everywhere. Unlike most bobcats, Bubsy can die by touching anything remotely dangerous, like eggs or water. Also unlike regular bobcats, he can glide through the air, has a t-shirt with an exclamation mark, and a smile you'll just be dying to wipe off his face. This is a 75 second improvement over acmlm's movie.
