It was one of the first YTPMVs I ever watched, and their work has still been my only exposure to the anime "Bonobono", before I recently got around to watching it myself (it's great, go watch it!) Part of what motivated to me recreate the video was to help me get back into making these again, it's hard to find the motivation. Sample searching is kind of boring for me now, which is an important part of even making YTPMVs. I even considered covering the rest of the track's instrumental, but opted out of it so I can get this out sooner, and to keep it faithful to the original video. I had a YTPMV almost done last year, but I lost the project file (along with a decade's worth of them) from a hard drive failure, and that killed my motivation a lot. Maybe this will get me back in the swing of things, but we will see.
