Hello everyone!

A few days ago, ZUN made an announcement about the release of Touhou 20, and it gave me just the right motivation to create this small composition, meant to feel like a menu theme.

I tried to give it a sense of serenity with a touch of intensity.
The structure is simple—just two sections—but I decided to play around with some instruments to add a bit of atmosphere.
And of course, I couldn’t resist adding the Erhu. For some reason, I just had to use it.

I’m really excited about the upcoming Touhou release, so I’ll be keeping an eye out to see if I can find time to transcribe some of the DEMO tracks once it’s out.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!

Hello again, it's been a while! I decided to arrange Minoriko's theme in my own special way!

Long story short, this was meant to be posted for Zenith of Antinomic Monarch's 3rd anniversary, but I sorta forgot... But it's here now! So, here's some trivia: Before Kushinada, Minoriko was planned to be ZoAM's stage 4 boss (because the logic here is that her theme's name mentions Princess Inada, so Minoriko → Princess Inada → Susanoo → Amanozako)

Eventually, I was given the suggestion to simply make Princess Inada a character outright, so Minoriko was relegated to the midboss... She's still quite the unsung hero of the story, isn't she? After all, she's the one who summoned Kushinada and the other Amatsukami after noticing Amanozako in Gensokyo.

So yeah, that's that ramble out of the way.

(By the way: Kushinada's pet name for Minoriko is "Little Harvest", hence why this song is titled "Little Harvest MIX")

I decided to make the original songs version of Kumikyoku Nico Nico Douga Medley because there were original songs version that were off pitch so I decided to do it justice. I did have trouble fitting some songs in the medley but I managed to fit them in. I had trouble fitting Sakura Sakura Nicovideo BGM so I used the one from the Japanese Folk Song. This work is incomplete, but I used a locally run AI model via ComfyUI to experiment with image-to-video generation, which helped animate parts of my original hand-drawn artwork. The process is extremely time-consuming, requires a capable GPU/CPU setup, and is not suitable for anyone seeking fast results. However, once configured, it becomes much easier to produce high-quality “template” art.
My workflow involved animating a few seconds at a time, selecting frames that best matched my original designs, and redrawing over them in Clip Studio Paint EX while creating alpha channels. These assets were then imported into DaVinci Resolve for timeline editing. I also animated some backgrounds and guided motion using positive and negative prompt filtering to achieve specific results.
I believe this setup could yield strong outcomes with sufficient time. I briefly tested using a Unity 6 scene snapshot to extend the animation beyond my initial ideas, but the results were unsatisfactory and would require heavy per-frame correction. Even so, this workflow could reduce development time from years as a solo animator to months—or even weeks—with enough caffeine.
