2017/11/11にオーストラリアのフレミントン競馬場で行われたG1:Emirates Stakes（エミレーツステークス）
連闘+距離延長で挑んだディープインパクト産駒のTosen Stardom(トーセンスターダム)が直線一旦は前が壁になるも外に切り替えて進路を得るとゴール手前から一気に伸びて快勝。

1869年に創設されたこの2000mのレースは現在では毎年11月のMelbourne Cup Carnivalの最終日に開催されている。
レース名が変わることが多く（Emirates Stakesは2016，17年のみ）、
1937年以降ほとんどの時期に入っている名前であるMackinnon Stakes（マッキノンステークス）やレースの性質を表したVRC Champions Stakesで総称される。
このレースの勝ち馬には欧米中東豪州香港と世界中を走ったMagic Wandや、欧州にも移籍して大活躍したオセアニアの名馬So You Thinkなどがいる。

Tosen Stardomは2011年日本生まれ、父：ディープインパクト、母：アドマイヤキラメキの牡馬。
5歳の2016年に日本からオーストラリアに移籍し翌年10月のG1:Toorak Handicap（トゥーラックハンデキャップ）でG1初勝利を遂げた（それまでの経緯は当該レース動画：sm41899682の説明文へ）。
翌11月には定番のローテーションとして4日フレミントン競馬場で行われたG1:Kennedy Mileに1番人気で出走するが8着と大敗し、
そこからなんと連闘+距離延長（移籍後1601m以上のレースを使うのも初）で本レースへと出走すると2番人気から見事勝利しG1・2勝目を上げた。
明けて7歳の2018年は1400ｍのG1:Futurity Stakesで2着があるのみで勝利することはできず4月のG1:Doncaster Mileでの15着を最後に引退。

2019～2020シーズンからオーストラリアのウッドサイドパークスタッドで種牡馬入りすると2020年に初年度産駒が誕生、
2023年にはシャトル種牡馬としてアイルランドのゼニススタリオンステーションに滞在し、以後はそのままオーストラリアに戻らずアイルランドで種牡馬生活を送っている。
