This was my third time mixing, and also the first time doing so after actually watching others mix as reference. For this cover, I replaced some of the instruments, which caused difficulties during the mixing phase. The choice of instruments during the arrangement stage directly led to the absence of certain frequency ranges, and I wasn’t sure how to compensate for them. Another issue was that without acoustic calibration in a home recording setup, it became extremely difficult to manage.

I made this Synthesizer V cover when I was experiencing problems distributing “Stand Tall” with Teto to platforms (which were solved anyway). During the days when I was working on this song, after finishing Teto's voice it occurred to me to also try Gumi's voice, now it is a cover that I loved, and its final result even gave me a lot of encouragement to share it, I hope you like this too.

MUGG ( https://tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/MUGG) here improves on their previous "hard mode" run by 7 seconds when taking emulator differences into account. Hard mode is accessed after beating the game once and adds a lot more enemies. Minor optimizations in various levels were made, and a scrolling bug was used in Level 4-2 to move a slow-moving platform out of the way to save half a second.
