ライプニッツ（Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, 1646-1716）の小論「モナドロジー」講読の第4回です。
今回は思考の原理としてライプニッツが重んじた矛盾律と充足理由律が登場します。特に充足理由律はライプニッツが定式化した原理として有名ですね。ただ、これに関しては少し言い足りなかったこともあるので次回以降にまた話そうかと。
後半は神の話になります。

ライプニッツ（Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, 1646-1716）の小論「モナドロジー」講読の第3回です。
精神的なものをモデルとした「モナド」から万物が成り立つとするライプニッツの立場にとって、では人間と動物、さらには一般に精神的ではないとされる無生物などはどう違うのか、というのが今回のポイントなります。そこをライプニッツは非精神的・無生物的なものも「意識をなくしたような状態」として説明するわけです。そして最後に人間を他の動物から区別する「理性」の話が出てきます。

いよいよ、モナドは単純なものでありながら多様な知覚を含む、という論点が出てきました。デカルト主義への批判もあって、徐々にそうしたところを通してライプニッツ哲学の特徴がはっきりしてきたかと思います。

久しぶりに本業であるフランス語の哲学から、ライプニッツ（Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, 1646-1716）の小論「モナドロジー」を読んでみることにしました。非常に浩瀚な業績があり、ニュートンと同時期の微積分法の発明、ニュートンを代弁したサミュエル・クラークとの論争など、数学・自然科学の歴史にも関わりの深い哲学者です。ドイツの哲学者ですが、主な著作はラテン語とフランス語で、今回読んだ「モナドロジー」もフランス語です。
「モナドロジー」は17ページほどの小論であり、発表当時にはタイトルさえなかったものですが、「モナド」という基本単位で万物が構成されるとするライプニッツの哲学を凝縮しているので、解説しながら読んでいきます。
初回ですので前半はライプニッツについての解説多め。久しぶりのフランス語ということもあって単語・文法も比較的丁寧にやっています。

大学講師の哲学講座 カントの時間論（後編）
カントの時間論後編です。
この後編ではいよいよ『純粋理性批判』の「超越論的弁証論」の「アンチノミー」を扱います。
「世界は時間的に始まりがある」「始まりがない」という二つの命題の両方を証明してしまう理性とは？ なぜそうなるのか？ そしてカントの解決とは？
カントの哲学は過去のもの？ とんでもない、ビッグバン宇宙論のような現代科学の発展を経た今だからこそ、世界の始まりのようなテーマについて「言えること」と「言えないこと」の境がどこにあるのか、カントの分析の有効性がわかる……と、そういう観点も強調させていただきました。
なお、動画中で読んでいるカントの原文はすべてアカデミー版カント全集。
文字がフラクトゥーア（いわゆる「ひげ文字」）なので多少のドイツ語知識があっても慣れないと難しいかもしれませんが、現在私の手元にあるのがこれだけですので。

大学講師の哲学講座 カントの時間論 （前編）
カント（Immanuel Kant, 1724-1804）といえば、近代哲学をやるならば必ず、そうでなくとも哲学を少しでも学んだ者なら多少は触れる西洋哲学史の巨頭。
今回はそのカントの時間論を扱います。
カントが『純粋理性批判』で、空間と時間を「感性のアプリオリな形式」としたことは有名ですが、時間論はそれだけではなく、「図式論」でも「図式」が「時間規定」であるとされ、さらに「弁証論」の「アンチノミー」では「世界は時間的に始まりがある」と「始まりがない」という両方の命題を論証できてしまう、ということが論じられます。
こちらの前編ではカントの基本前提となる「アプリオリ」の定義に始まり、感性論と図式論までです。時間と空間の「類比（アナロジー）」に対する若干の疑念や、「図式（シェマ）」という概念が心理学で生きているという話なども。
時間の哲学講座でさんざん取り上げた『〈現在〉という謎』からもふたたび森田邦久氏の論文を取り上げ（て槍玉に上げ）ます。
なお、動画中で読んでいるカントの原文はすべてアカデミー版カント全集。

大学講師の哲学講座 カントの倫理学とそれを巡るあれこれ （後編）
カント倫理学後編です。配信では3時間半以上も続けたスペシャル回でしたが、休憩を挟んで区切りました。
配信中で参照したYouTubeチャンネル「ゆる哲学ラジオ」で『アンパンマン』と倫理を結びつけて論じたこと自体は、私もかなり評価しています。
ただ、『アンパンマン』を扱うなら、アンパンマンのような正義の人になれないキャラクターにも注目してよいのでは？ というスタンスから、内なる悪人格に苦しめられるキャラクター「ロールパンナ」を取り上げ、それと絡めることでカントの「根元悪 das radikale Böse」概念について扱いました。
ただの理想論を掲げているわけではない、こういう面も視野に入れてこそカント倫理学ではないかと思います。

専門家でもない人による通俗的な解説動画に目くじら立てても仕方ない……と思われるかもしれませんが、これも参照したYouTubeチャンネルをそれなりに評価していて、それでも看過できない誤解を招く内容だと思えばこそ。こういう参照を通してカントの哲学の論点が明確になる点もあろうかと思います。
