今回は、研究データ公開に関わる考え方として、FAIR原則とCARE原則を取り上げました。

データ公開というと、ファイルをリポジトリやWebサイトに置けばよい、と思われがちです。しかし実際には、データが「公開されている」ことと、第三者が「理解して再利用できる」ことは同じではありません。

FAIR原則は、データを見つけやすく、アクセスしやすく、他のデータやシステムと組み合わせやすく、再利用しやすくするための考え方です。一方、CARE原則は、データを誰のために、どのような責任で、どのように正しく扱うのかを考えるための視点です。

この動画では、データ公開を「置くだけ」ではなく、「使われるデータ」として設計するための基本的な考え方を、できるだけやさしく整理しました。
