【講演概要】As other Chinese Non-Profit Organizations, ten years ago, China Computer Federation (CCF) was also affiliated to an institute, no individual membership, no open election, no awards, no big impact activities, small number of income……The CCF started it reformation in 2004 after the national representative congress. It has more than 24000 individual members; CCF Communications (CCCF) is monthly published; China National Computer Congress (CNCC) attracts more than 3000 participants from all of the countries and foreign countries; Advanced Disciplines Lectures (ADL), a high level technical lectures, contains 10 times a year; 35 Technical Committees, 25 branches for young professionals (YOCSEF), 24 city membership chapters and 18 student chapters. In additional to this, CCF created 12 awards. The president and the board members of the society are elected by member representatives in the democratic ways and quite open. Ken Niimura visited New York Kinokuniya Bookstore on May 16th, 2015 to promote his new title, 'Henshin'. Ken lives and works in Japan but he grew up in Spain. So, he speaks Spanish, Japanese and English. He is the gold winner of the International Manga Award for ‘I Kill Giants’ which has now been optioned for film by Chris Columbus’ Treehouse Pictures. "I Kill Giants" was also a 2008 Eisner Award nominee among other awards and honors. His latest work ‘Henshin’ is translated from the Japanese by Image Comics and portrays 13 stories of transformation brought into the lives of the featured characters due to life-changing events or decisions they make. It’s a unique view of life in Tokyo evoked through masterful and imaginative storytelling. His personality is also unique and vibrant as can be seen from his interview and Q&A session with Kinokuniya’s Terence Irvins.

Larry Kirwan of Black 47 visited our New York store to discuss his latest release, A History of Irish Music.
Kirwan formed Black 47 with Chris Byrne in 1989. The group released 15 albums and performed over 2400 shows until disbanding last November. Kirwan has also written 15 plays and musicals, two novels, a memoir Green Suede Shoes, and the recently published, A History of Irish Music.

1989年、カーワンさんはクリス・バーンさんとBlack 47を結成。11月にバンドを解散し、今までに15枚のアルバムを発表し、2400回の公演を行いました。また、カーワンさんはミュージカル脚本を15本、2冊の小説を書いています。一冊は回想録Green Suede Shoes、そして今回出版された A History of Irish Music です。

★高画質★エンタメニュースを毎日掲載！「MAiDiGiTV」登録はこちら↓http://maidigitv.jp/TSUTAYAチャンネルはこちら！http://ch.nicovideo.jp/tsutaya-view お笑いコンビ「ピース」の又吉直樹さんが6月20日、東京都内で行われたイベントに登場した。自身の小説「火花」が「第28回三島由紀夫賞」に続き「第153回芥川龍之介賞」（芥川賞）にもノミネートされた又吉さんは「自信はないですね、正直。（審査員に）どういうふうに読んでいただけるんやろという期待と不安」と率直な感想を語った。 芥川賞は、1935年に文藝春秋が創設した文学賞。純文学の分野で年2回、無名または新進作家の既発表作品から選考される。今年の選考委員会は7月16日に開催予定。又吉さんは、「火花」の高評価について、「ちゃんと読んでくださったことがうれしい。『芸人が書いたものなんて読むか』と言われると傷つく」といい、「書いていた時は本当に想像もしてなかった。ちゃんと小説として正面から読んでもらえるか、読んでくれたらいいけれど、なかなかな……と思っていた」と喜んでいた。 芥川賞のノミネートは移動中の車中、電話で連絡を受けたといい、「何か僕いらんこと言うたかな？ ものすごく偉い人に怒られるんやと思った」と勘違いしたという。受賞については「他の方の作品を読めてないですけれど、比較だったりするので難しい」と自信なさげで、受賞しても「できれば（先生とは）呼んでほしくない。書いていることも、先生とは真逆のことを書いているつもりです」と恐縮していた。さらに受賞した際の“公約”を聞かれても「僕はそれ（公約）をしない、という新しい選択をしたい！」と拒否。約1カ月後の受賞発表までどう過ごすかと聞かれ、「もう書き終わっているので、願掛けは難しいですが、どうせなら、次の作品を書き始められたらいいなと思います」と執筆意欲をのぞかせた。 イベントは又吉さんの初めての俳句入門として、雑誌「すばる」2012年10月号から連載している「ササる俳句 笑う俳句」をまとめた「芸人と俳人」（集英社）の刊行記念トーク＆サイン本お渡し会。又吉さんが弟子入りした気鋭の俳人・堀本裕樹さんも参加した。####Naoki Matayoshi of “Peace” also nominated for Akutagawa Prize following Mishima Yukio Prize: "Not very confident!" .
