今回は グノーの《アヴェ・マリア》を、双葉湊音ちゃんに歌ってもらいました。歌詞は ラテン語です！

当方ねこにつき、唇を噛む V（そもそも唇がない！）や巻き舌が特に苦手……。ラテン語だけはどうしても自力で喋れないので、もし間違っていたらごめんなさいデスにゃー。
グノーの楽譜では ヘ長調になっているようですが、今回は バッハの原曲と同じハ長調でお送りします。
《アヴェ・マリア》は、キリスト教では日常的にも歌われる祈りの歌で、クリスマスにも演奏されますが、主題というより、ミサの始まりなどで静かに用いられることが多いそうです。
もともとは、バッハ《平均律クラヴィーア曲集 第1巻 第1番》の上に、グノーが旋律を重ねた作品ですね。
今回は、リヒテルの録音のように「ピアノを聖堂に置いた つもり」の音作りを目指しました。（実際には、リヒテルはザルツブルクの宮殿で、ベーゼンドルファーを弾いていたそうですが…）
ちなみに、グノー版《アヴェ・マリア》には、バッハの原曲には存在しない 1小節が追加されています。これはグノー本人ではなく、Christian Friedrich Gottlieb Schwenke によるものだと言われています。
平均律の楽譜を前に、アヴェ・マリアの旋律を口ずさみながら、何度「？」と首をひねったことか……。きっと世界中に、同じく混乱した人がたくさんいるんでしょうね。
