今回は、今般のコロナ禍で企業の配当が減収！が想定される記事が、
ありましたので、解説していきたいと思います。
【配当の減収】
８月２８日朝刊の日経新聞では、配当に関して次のポイントがクローズされていました。
・2021年3月期の配当総額は前期比8%減の6兆5000億円強となる見通し
・減配や無配になる企業は全体の25%
当該リサーチは、日経NEEDSで、1367社を対象に、実施されたものです。
配当と申しますと、期末配当のほか、中間配当があります。
会社では、2021年３月期の配当予想を、中間配当で実施する場合は、
中間配当でいくら、期末配当でいくら、年間の配当予想総額を
決算短信で開示します。
2020年１月から１２月を事業年度とする会社では、
中間配当を実施する場合、９月中旬頃を効力発生日としています。
しかし、今般のコロナ禍の収束が見えない中、
中間配当を見送る会社が出ています。
例えば、８月１１日付「剰余金の配当（中間配当）の見送りに
関するお知らせ」では、
東急レクリエーションが、今年度の中間配当を見送り、
期末配当の予想を未定としています。
中間配当を見送る理由は、主に、第２四半業績結果が
損失となる見込みとする場合が多いように見受けます。
中間配当を実施するため確認すべき事項のひとつとして、
期末時点の分配可能額が予定中間配当額を下回るような
水準にならないか、又はマイナスとなるようなことが
ないかの確認が挙げられます。
仮に、期末に分配可能額がマイナスとなった場合、取締役会で
当議案を承認決議した役員等は、善管注意義務を払ったことを
証明しない限り、損失された金額を填補しなければなりません。
